Always Hired is a San Francisco-based sales training bootcamp designed specifically to help students develop effective sales tactics and methods for work in the tech industry. The program, which aims to help students land a Sales Development Representative job, is available in both training and bootcamp form. Always Hired has employment partners as well, which enables some students to land a job as a direct result of their training at Always Hired. The bootcamp and training program at Always Hired focuses on tech industry sales best practices, communication skills, sales techniques, and leadership skills. The program takes place in-person at the Always Hired San Francisco campus location, or online through the ‘virtual bootcamp’ program.
Always Hired provides Salesforce Training along with with other subjects in its Sales Development Representative bootcamp. The program specifically aims to educate students on how to properly engage in cold-calling and sales emailing, along with research techniques specifically for the tech industry. The program offers a non-coding approach for those who want to break into tech, especially in business and sales. Always Hired also focuses on leadership and other sales-related skills. Coaching is also a big part of the technology sales training curriculum at Always Hired.
The Sales Development Representative program at Always Hired is a short-term and part-time bootcamp. Classes run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There are no weekend classes, and students can continue to work during the program. Always Hired has an extremely strict attendance policy—missing a single class or homework assignment will result in automatic dismissal from the program, with the exception of medical and life emergencies (verified by a note).
Job placement can be achieved through the sales partners of Always Hired. Students who apply (and get accepted) to the bootcamp can opt to commit to the hiring partners program and land a job through one of those companies. According to the Always Hired website, the base salary for hired graduates is $50,000 but averages out between $75,000 to $85,000. The company stresses that individual motivation, effectiveness, and receptiveness to coaching are primary factors that contribute to job success.
While Always Hired isn’t a coding bootcamp, it does offer common coding bootcamp payment options. This business and sales bootcamp offers an income share agreement, where students have their tuition costs deferred until after they land a job. Once they’re hired, they pay a certain percentage of their salary until the conditions of the agreement are met. Additionally, students can opt for other payment options. For training-only students, tuition is $2,500 upfront. However, training-only students don’t receive full access to some features such as additional training and alumni perks. Bootcamp students, on the other hand, pay $4,000 upfront with no job commitment necessary. Students can opt to take the program for free, as long as they commit to one the Always Hired hiring partners. No application is required for the training-only course, but an application is required for students who want to attend the full Sales Development Representative bootcamp. Students can also attend the program as an internship and collect a wage, though an application is also required for such positions.
